About the Programme
The QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Major Award (5M4339) is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and competence required to provide support within a variety of healthcare environments.
Learners complete eight modules totalling 120 credits to achieve the full major award. QQI's programme database confirms Healthcare Support 5M4339 as an NFQ Level 5 Major Award.
Through our partnership with an approved course provider, learners can begin their studies internationally, with six modules available for online completion.
The remaining requirements include Communications and Work Experience, which require the learner to satisfy the applicable practical/work-placement requirements.

International Students Welcome
Study From Outside Ireland
You do not need to be living in Ireland to begin the online portion of the programme.
Learners residing internationally can enrol and complete the six online modules remotely, subject to the course provider's admission and assessment requirements.
However, learners must understand that completing the online modules alone does not constitute completion of the full QQI Level 5 Major Award. The remaining requirements, including Work Experience, must also be successfully completed.
